DHQ Tiffany

BIO
A Professional Dancer Living Her Passion
Tiffany is a professional dancer whose journey began on the vibrant island of St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Born and raised in this lively and culturally rich environment, she was drawn to dance at a very young age. Starting her dance journey at just three years old, Tiffany immersed herself in various forms of dance, from ballet to the energetic and festive performances at carnival shows and pageant events.
At the age of 17, Tiffany moved to the Netherlands to further her education, but it was when she turned 19 that she began to take her passion for dance, to be specific; dancehall more seriously. With a fierce determination to turn her love for dance into a career, she devoted herself to training, networking, and seizing every opportunity that came her way.
Her hard work and dedication soon paid off, as Tiffany began to work on a global scale. She danced in music videos, festivals, shows, and numerous dance projects across the world. Over the years, Tiffany has collaborated with well-known artists and DJs, showcasing her talent and versatility. Some of the notable names she’s worked with include RDX, Alkaline, Tiana, Ochi Queen, Idaly, The Opposites, Gers Pardoel, Murda Turk, Major Lazer, Zamoni, King James, Spice, Kalibwoy, and Steff London.
Tiffany’s dance style is truly unique—raw, authentic, and impossible to teach. It’s a style that comes from within, something that you either possess or you don’t. Her movements are full of passion and energy, embodying the spirit of the dancehall culture in every performance. For Tiffany, dancehall is more than just a genre; it’s a lifestyle. She proudly represents this culture, infusing it into every step she takes, both on and off the stage.
In addition to her international dancing career, Tiffany made waves in Dutch television when she worked with Chantal Jansen on her TV program Chantal komt werken. Tiffany had the opportunity to teach Chantal how to twerk, further solidifying her reputation as an expert in dance.
Tiffany's talents and contributions to the dance community were recognized in 2024 when she won the prestigious Dutch Dancehall Queen title. This accomplishment was particularly meaningful to Tiffany, as she has long been seen as an embodiment of the dancehall culture, both on and off the stage.
For Tiffany, dance is more than just a profession—it’s a way of life. Her passion and commitment to dance have shaped her into the performer and artist she is today. Through every move, every routine, and every collaboration, Tiffany continues to inspire and make an impact in the dance world.

DHQ Selida
March 8
BIO
Originally from Puglia, in southern Italy, and raised in an Italian-Brazilian family, Selida grew up immersed in a rich blend of cultures.
Her passion for dance was sparked early, inspired by her mother’s love for samba. Whenever samba music played at home, her mother would effortlessly break into a samba de pé, instilling in Selida a deep appreciation for rhythm and movement.
Selida’s love for Latin music and her experience as an entertainer at events naturally led her to explore different dance styles.
However, her life changed in 2011 at the Felisa club in Italy, where she saw an amazing performance by Alevanille.
That day, she fell in love with dancehall, a Jamaican dance style that would shape her journey as a dancer.
In 2012, Selida earned the title of Italian Dancehall Queen and represented her country in the International Dancehall Queen competition in Jamaica.
Though young, she embraced the opportunity with immense passion and a strong desire to learn and honor the culture.
Over the years, Selida continued to refine her skills, attending workshops across Belgium, and competing in various contests.
After moving to Belgium, she remained dedicated to her passion.
Now based in Antwerp, she teaches Dancehall Queen and Female Dancehall classes, sharing her love for the art form and inspiring others to connect with its energy and culture.
EM Gyal
April 5

BIO
Em Gyal is a French Dancehall dancer and lover of the Jamaican culture since a decade now. She became the first official member of the dance group called "AJA Dancers", based in Bordeaux, France, since its creation in 2015.
Em started to travel to Jamaica every year from 2016 to discover, understand the culture better and learn directly from the source. She began by practicing male style only, in old, middle and new school, which came more natural to her, but quickly fell in love with the female part too. More than just a dance, the Gyal area of Dancehall represents for her a beautiful way for women to embrace and express their feminity, power and self-confidence through dance.
She now teaches Dancehall in her own city and gives workshops all over the country, while still supporting the culture by organizing her own events with jamaican dancers. She continues to travel, learn, practice and perform this art. Em Gyal worked for artists such as Mystic Davis, RDX or Elephant Man. She was also invited to the Intercontinental Dancehall Queen Contest in 2021 in Russia and was one of the last 10 finalists. She is also one of the ambassadors for events happening in Jamaica such as the Dancehall week or the DHQ bootcamp by DancehallQueenJA in July 2025, in Kingston.
